Founders Investment Banking Advises on the Sale of Student Life’s Publishing Assets to NavPress

Founders Investment Banking, LLC (“Founders”) is pleased to announce that it advised the shareholders of Student Life, Inc. (“Student Life”) on the sale of its publishing assets to NavPress. Student Life is a Christian events and publishing business that hosts events in a variety of formats for youth and adult markets and publishes Bible studies, devotionals, and other literature to support these events. NavPress is a ministry of The Navigators and is committed to advancing The Navigators’ calling by publishing life-transforming materials. This strategic alliance will allow Student Life to refocus its efforts on its core niche while NavPress strengthens and diversifies its product offerings and taps into a new distribution channel. As part of this synergistic relationship, Student Life and NavPress have entered into a multi-year co-marketing and co-publishing agreement to ensure that the highest quality materials reach the widest possible audience of churches and individuals.

Randy Hall, President of Student Life, stated, “The Founders team played a critical role in helping us both pursue and evaluate strategic alternatives for our business and ministry. We could not be more excited about our new strategic relationship with the NavPress team as well as the opportunity to refocus our energy on building the preeminent Christian events ministry in the U.S.”

Founders Managing Partner, Duane Donner, said, “We were delighted to assist the Student Life team during this period of exciting change. We believe that the new relationship between Student Life and NavPress will enhance both businesses and allow our client to strengthen its events business and capture valuable market share that will lead to increasing its overall market value. We look forward to an ongoing relationship with the Student Life team and the future growth and success of their business and ministry.”

NavPress COO, Michael Visentine, stated, “The NavPress team is very pleased with this strategic alliance and see it as a win-win situation for all parties. We believe that Student Life’s portfolio of Christian resources will complement our discipleship-focused business well. We are excited about our ongoing relationship with Student Life and look forward to what the future has in store for both organizations.”
