The Founders team hosted a Blast & Cast Forum for business owners in the Energy Services industry at a piece of heaven on earth, the Lodge at Cameron Meadows, in Southwest Louisiana in late September. Guests had an opportunity to share great company and learn more about the Founders’ expertise and industry depth that could help them achieve business goals. Also, guests experienced teal hunting, red fishing, crabbing, and alligator hunting and enjoyed great meals which featured true Louisiana fare. M&A Activity Expected to Grow in Second Half

Founders’ Managing Partner, Duane Donner II, recently shared with the Birmingham Business Journal that in the second half of 2012, an increase in merger and acquisition activity is anticipated; however the activity will be impacted by the outcome of the upcoming presidential election. “We currently have more deals in market than at any time in our 10 year history. What we’re seeing as we bring good deals to the market is that private equity groups are paying a higher valuation, and they’re competing very strongly… There’s more capital than there are good deals,” Donner said.
