Founders Investment Banking Adds Chief Operating Officer
Founders Investment Banking, LLC today announced that J. Wesley Legg has joined the team as chief operating officer. His primary role is to lead daily operations and identify opportunities to position the firm for growth.
Mr. Legg has a wide range of financial and operational management experience and will focus on optimizing processes and services, as well as internal planning for the company’s future strategies and growth.

Prior to joining Founders, Mr. Legg was an original member and principal at Ergon Capital, a Nashville-based hedge fund, where he served as a senior investment analyst, generating more than $50 million in profits. He also co-founded Harbinger Media Partners, a faith-based Nashville media company, for which he served as chief operating officer, managing a team of more than 80 people and a multi-million dollar operating and marketing budget. He also was a producer for the company’s first feature film, Unconditional. Mr. Legg began his career serving as a U.S. Navy judge advocate general (JAG) prosecutor, handling more than 100 cases and serving as a counselor to high ranking officers.
Mr. Legg earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of South Alabama.
