One of those Founders professionals is Chris Weingartner, a Midwesterner who married a great girl from the South (Birmingham specifically). Job description in 25 words or less: Oversee the Technology Practice Group’s process of underwriting, marketing and closing transactions for our clients, and I support Zane Tarence (managing director for the Technology Practice) in business development, etc.
Hometown: I moved halfway through my childhood, I am proud to claim both Indianapolis, IN and Middletown, OH as my hometowns.
What makes you come to work every day: The opportunity to help entrepreneurs fulfill their capital objectives/dreams and help growing middle-market companies continue down a successful path.
Interesting fact about yourself: Until I met my now wife the very last semester of college, I would have bet anyone millions of dollars I’d never live in Birmingham. Now, I love it!
Title of your autobiography: God is Good
Hidden talent: I’ve yet to master an instrument, but growing up I played piano, violin, hand bells, bagpipes, and electric bass.
Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten: I prefer to not relive pledgeship; there are too many things to list.
Least favorite food: Kale, I’m ready for that fad to die.
