Founders recently hired two analysts, Matt Roden and William Short, to support the expanding firm. Their primary responsibility is supporting principals in the execution of deals across the firm. Their duties include conducting industry and company research, preparing financial analysis, and facilitating due diligence.

Mr. Roden served as a summer analyst for the firm, while completing his education, prior to joining the Founders team full time. Mr. Roden grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Economics. After completing his undergraduate degree, he attended the University of Alabama School of Law and Manderson Graduate School of Business to complete his JD/MBA.

Prior to joining Founders Investment Banking, Mr. Short completed an internship with Koch Industries where he was primarily responsible for performing market risk analysis. Mr. Short is originally from Wichita, Kansas and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Computer Science.

Matthew Millwee recently joined the Strategic Advisory Practice as an Associate. His duties include managing the work of analysts/bookkeepers performing financial duties, preparing financial analysis, developing key performance indicators, and advising business owners with a wide range of business issues. Prior to joining Founders Investment Banking, Mr. Millwee served in the Assurance practice at Ernst & Young and on the Financial Reporting team at IberiaBank. Mr. Millwee is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Accounting. He is currently studying to complete the CPA Exam.

Vaughn McCrary and Stephen Sistrunk were promoted to Associates. They both support principals in the execution of deals across the firm and oversee the Analyst team.
