Founders once again sponsored The Lion’s Den, an internationally known event for real businesses seeking real investors to make real impact. The Lion’s Den was established with the goal to “Inspire, Educate and Mobilize” people to invest their time, talents, and other resources through “Business as Mission.” At this year’s event, over 300 people from 7 countries and 23 states gathered at Samford University in Birmingham, AL; attendees represented nearly 60 cities from around the world. In addition to sponsoring the event, Founders Managing Partner, Duane Donner, participated as a member of the Panel of Lions – a spiritually-minded panel for The Lion’s Den “Shark Tank” style main event.

The Lion’s Den main event is known as one of the world’s best events for showcasing companies focused on producing financial, social, environmental, and spiritual results in their chosen endeavors, known as the “quadruple bottom-line”. The 4 business participants for the event are selected from a pool of applicants and have 8 minutes to present. A 6-person panel then asks questions regarding the quadruple bottom line. Live audience voting then selects the business who “best survives.”
