Founders recently hosted its Spring Heritage Forum at Pursell Farms April 26th-28th. As guidelines continue to ease and life continues to resemble pre COVID, it was encouraging to gather in person for this unique event, which focuses on the participant’s family, personal, and business heritage and legacy.
The Heritage Forum is designed encourage participants to take a step back to reflect and assess life and develop a vision for the legacy. It is a very relational experience whereby participants engage in a collaborative Heritage Process that prompts the exploration and creation of their personal Heritage Vision©. The Vision is a preferred future for how our lives will impact our families, friends, communities, and sphere of influence both now and once we are gone.
The two-day event included interactive sessions facilitated by a team of talented and experienced professionals who specialize in their respective areas of expertise within the realm of Heritage and Legacy Planning. Participants also enjoyed recreation activities such as golf at Farmlinks and shooting at Pursell Orvis. There was also time spent collaborating and fellowship with other high-capacity leaders around meals and after dinner fire-side chats. The event culminated the with a trip up to the mountain to the secret place for a strong word from David Pursell along with time for reflection. The staff at Pursell Farms made the event a 5-star experience with delicious Southern cuisine and world class accommodations topped with hospitality like no other.
It was another great event with a fantastic group of men who left equipped and challenged toward living in their Heritage Vision so they can have generational impact.
The Heritage Forum is an invite only event hosted by Duane and the team at Founders. If you, or someone you know is interested learning more about the Heritage Forum you can visit HeritageForums.com and/or contact Duane Donner to learn more about the invite process.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”Jeremiah 17:7-8
