DALLAS, Texas, September 27, 2022 – Founders Advisors announced today that Wayne Vacek has joined the firm as a Director in the firm’s Dallas office, where he will be a leader in the Consumer Practice Group. With more than 25 years of experience in corporate development, M&A and integration, and broad-based strategic planning, Vacek will provide advisory leadership across all phases of the transaction process for middle-market clients.

Over the years, Vacek has served in multiple roles with retail and consumer branded companies. Prior to joining Founders, Vacek served as Chief Strategy Officer for Varsity Brands, and most recently as Head of Strategy for Lowes.com. Vacek has held leadership roles at other companies, including JCPenney, Tempur Sealy, FedEx, and Bain & Company.

Vacek resides in Dallas with his wife, Melissa, and five children. He received his MBA at Harvard Business School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Vacek has served for both the Dallas and Charlotte Salvation Army ARC chapters over the last 6 years, including serving as Chairman of the Dallas ARC.
