A bi-annual tradition, the Founders team spends every MLK Day and one Saturday in July aiding local causes in tangible ways. This July, Founders exemplified their commitment to service by dedicating their time and efforts at Barrett Elementary School. Located on the outskirts of downtown Birmingham, Barrett Elementary is a pre-K through 5th-grade school of over 500 students.

The Founders team undertook an array of projects to enhance the school’s facilities and create a more engaging learning environment for students. From landscaping to painting stairwells, cleaning bathrooms, upgrading classrooms and steam-cleaning rugs, our team was able to provide practical services to the school and the surrounding community while also enjoying spending time with each other outside of the office. By investing time, skills, and resources, our team demonstrated the value of community engagement and the importance of giving back.

Our team closed out the day together enjoying wings at Saw’s Juke Joint.
