Josh Smith

Josh Smith is a Senior Associate at Founders Advisors. His primary responsibilities include supporting principals in client service and execution of deals through conducting industry and company research, preparing financial analyses, and facilitating due diligence.

Most recently, Josh served as Manager of Corporate Development at Motion Industries, where he was responsible for the execution of merger and acquisition opportunities in the industrial solutions space. Prior to Motion, Josh was at Grant Thornton in the Financial Due Diligence practice, advising strategic and financial buyers and sellers. He began his career at KPMG’s assurance practice in Washington, D.C.

Josh received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Mississippi, as well as his Master of Accountancy. Josh is an active CPA. Outside of the office, Josh enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with his wife, son, and dog.
