Neal England is Managing Director for the Business Services practice at Founders Advisors and is based in Dallas, Texas. With over 25 years of growth strategy execution, operations, and M&A (40+ closed transactions) Neal delivers broad-level transaction advisory across all phases of the M&A process.
Neal began his M&A career when his staffing company employer was acquired by a NY family office as a platform investment. Post-closing, Neal became VP Corporate Development and led 21 acquisitions that added over $300M of annual revenue over 36 months. During his tenure, enterprise annual revenue grew from $17M to $500M with $29M EBITDA and then recapitalized with Morgan Stanley. With the same NY investor group Neal planned and led a strategic initiative acquiring a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) platform and subsequently led five additional acquisitions over the next four years, scaling annual revenues $24M to $448M and serving over 14,000 worksite employees across 44 states becoming one of the nation’s top ten largest PEOs. After rebranding to US Personnel, Inc. Neal transitioned into operations as RVP, then EVP, and ultimately President. Upon the stakeholder’s sunsetting their investment Neal led the sale of US Personnel to a strategic buyer and assumed a leadership role launching new growth initiatives and integration. Neal also planned and led startups in IT, healthcare, mortgage, F&A, and construction staffing ventures.
Prior to joining Founders Advisors, Neal was Managing Director and HCM Practice Leader for an investment banking firm in Dallas, Texas.
Neal and his wife, Suzanne, reside in University Park, Texas. They have two daughters who attend Southern Methodist University in the University Honors College. Their older daughter is triple majoring and is a member of the SMU Pom Squad and performs as a professional ballerina with a Dallas ballet company and their younger daughter is a Freshman and a Peruna mascot Handler. Neal and Suzanne enjoy attending SMU football games and watching their daughter run the miniature black stallion mascot across the field after SMU touchdowns. They also spend many weekends supporting their daughter who competes as a USAG Level 9/10 Gymnast. In the England’s spare time, they enjoy international and domestic travel. Each year, the entire family, including two dogs, embarks on a holiday road trip that usually involves snow skiing, hiking, or diving adventures.
Neal is a former multi-year BOD member for DallasHR (SHRM’s largest affiliate) where he led the Workforce Readiness committee and developed programs to assist Veterans and seniors successfully navigate the employment environment. Neal serves multiple other industry and charity-based associations.
