Swede Umbach is an Associate at Founders Advisors with the primary responsibility of supporting principals in the execution of deals across the firm. His duties include conducting industry and company research, preparing financial analyses, and facilitating due diligence. Prior to joining Founders, Swede worked at Ernst & Young in their assurance practice.
Swede is originally from Birmingham, AL and graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Accountancy. After completing his undergraduate studies, he received a Master of Accountancy and Data Analytics from the University of Mississippi Patterson School of Accountancy. Swede is an active CPA.
Outside the office, he enjoys working out, running, grilling, and spending time with his wife Caroline.
